Why Stratagem exists

I built Stratagem because I couldn’t find it. When you buy property in another country, the information you actually need — what kills deals, what the real net yield is after costs, where the legal traps sit — is scattered, gated, or written by someone trying to sell you the property.

The big intelligence firms serve institutions at institutional prices. The portals and brokerages have the wrong incentives. So the individual buyer ends up doing due diligence with Google and hope.

Stratagem is one person and one engine. I designed the Stratagem Risk Engine™ to work the way a careful analyst does — gather, source, cross-check, stress-test its own conclusions — and to be honest about what it can’t know. Every figure is linked to its source. Every judgment is labelled as judgment. Where the data is thin, the report says so.
